I have been thinking if Mr. 路漫, Mr. 沙南曼森 and other brothers and sisters who know Sawcuengh would like to provide or write some teaching materials that are related to our daily life, such as shopping at the supermarket or grocery store, having haircut at barber shop, working on the rice field, interviewing at a job fair, etc. I believe we use fewer borrowed words (Guiliu dialect, Cantonese, Mandarin) in our daily activities than in discussing abstract subjects such as science, politics, etc.
I would recommend that the teaching material be in this format: Sawcuengh, English, Chinese (Regarding the order of English vs. Chinese, it does not matter whether Chinese is first or second). Through this method, the Choong people and people interested in Choong can learn three languages at the same time. Isn’t that great?
The following is an example. I got this from an old book:
SAWCUENGH
CANBU GOBWNJ
BONJ DAIH’IT
GVANGJSIH MINZCUZ CUZBANJSE 1981
Some brother or sister please do me a favor and translate my message into Chinese, or explain my suggestion in Chinese for those who do not read English. Thanks a lot.
