padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; line-height: 1.5em; "> 于此一地区,大有开发铁路之机会。应由广州起,向各重要城市、矿产地引铁路线,成为扇形之铁路网,使各与大港相联结。在此部建设铁路者,非特为发展广州所必要,抑亦于西部全部之繁荣为最有用者也。以建设此项铁路之故,种种丰富之矿产可以开发,而城镇亦可于沿途建之。其既开之地,价尚甚廉,至于未开地及含有矿产之区,虽非现归国有,其价之贱,去不费一钱可得者亦仅一间耳。所以若将来市街用地及矿产地,预由政府收用,然后开始建筑铁路,则其获利必极丰厚。然则不论建筑铁路投资多至若干,可保其偿还本息,必充足有余矣。又况开发广州以为世界大港,亦全赖此铁路系统,如使缺此纵横联属西部广袤之一部之铁路网,则广州亦不能有如吾人所预期之发达矣。</p><p style="word-wrap: break-word;
